Pinko presents Mikala Dwyer’s artworf for the Salone del Mobile – 2018

Pinko vetrina-17

During the 57th edition of the Salone del Mobile, PINKO presents the work of the Australian artist Mikala Dwyer. The project, curated by Manon Comerio, will be hosted in the PINKO store in via Montenapoleone, where the artwork Hanging Garden (2014), a loan from Studio la Città, Verona, will be exhibited.

Hanging Garden is an environmental installation where different sized plants invade the exhibition space with their micro-biospheres: the works are hung from the ceiling in some clear plastic vases. The result is an unexpected and floating garden that comes alive by adapting to an unusual context. It’s a thrilling installation that amazes and disorients the visitor.
