Andre Woodward

Andre Woodward was born in Newport Beach, California. His work focuses on the intersection between nature, technology, and humanity, using a mixture of manmade and natural materials, inspired by the unique dynamics of the Southern California landscape. Woodward received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Studio Art from University of California, Irvine and a Master of Fine Art degree in Sculpture from California State University, Long Beach. His projects have been exhibited throughout California.

His work focuses on the intersection between nature, technology, and humanity, using a mixture of manmade and natural materials, inspired by the unique dynamics of the Southern California landscape.

  • At the Laguna Art Museum in California is set up Burghers of Cali a Ballad of Redwood Spirits by Andre Woodward, a sound installation that brings together the famous tree cubes with the latest work by Redwood Spirits. Until 4 February 2024.
