Giorgio Vigna will be one of the protagonists of the Venice Glass Week, the first international festival dedicated to the art of glass, with particular attention to that of Murano.
The Acque installation will be exhibited at Palazzo Fortuny’s Noble Floor and was created by Giorgio Vigna with works created between 2013 and 2015. Acque belongs to a research project with which the artist explores the possibilities of glass in the relationship between water and fire. With this work he transforms simple copper containers into signs of mystical value. The first works of this research were exhibited at Palazzo Fortuny in 2010 on the occasion of his solo show Altre Nature.
