On Saturday 28 January, on the occasion of the opening of the three solo exhibitions that inaugurate the new exhibition year of Studio la Città (Luigi Caboni, Victoria Stoian and Antonio Marchetti Lamera), the Galtarossa district in Verona will light up with a new and unexpected work by Arthur Duff.
A real 6-metre-high “totem” will soar inside the courtyard of the gallery, forcing the viewer to look upwards where the neon words “WHAT STICK AND WHY” will illuminate the area with red and white light.
The installation, presented last December 4 by the Municipality of Brescia during the Luce in Carmine event, now transforms our outdoor space into an open-air light art event, which can be enjoyed free of charge by everyone that lives and experiences the Galtarossa area.
