Do not miss Hiroyuki Masuyama’s Parigi – Verona, which has been restored by the artist himself. The artwork, together with Tree III by Jacob Hashimoto, is exhibited in the group show Places of the mind. 20 years of contemporary art, at the Achille Forti Gallery of Modern Art in Verona.
The work is part of a series dedicated to flights, that the artist define as a documentation of time and space. Masuyama took a photo of the view from the plane window every 20 seconds during his flight from Paris to Verona; he then chose 250 pictures that he combined to create this 1000 cm long lightbox.
