I am one acquainted with the night is a collaboration between Studio la Città and Galerie Tanit, Beirut reflecting solidarity and resilience. It borrows its title from a poem by Robert Frost. It declares familiarity with darkness, to allow the light to come back through the work of 15 artists.

  • On the occasion of the eighth ‘Vetrina‘, Vino Vero presents Climax #5 Venice, a site-specific work by Giorgia Severi. Vetrina presents a series of exhibitions curated by Mara Sartore for Vino Vero and in collaboration with Lightbox. Giorgia Severi’s project will be on display from 8 June to 3 September 2023.


  • Michael Najjar participates in the exhibition “Tower of Flowing Light” is a group show based on the theme of light, bringing together the works of 30 Chinese and international artists, including Maurizio Cattelan, Olafur Eliasson and Yang Fudong. The exhibition is held at the Sifang Art Museum in China, from May 20 to October 31, 2023.


  • Giorgia Severi first artist book, entitled SHOOTING STARS – BOTANICAL CONVERSATIONS WITH PETER LATZ will be presented at the first edition of BOOKS, the festival dedicated to art and artist books, which will take place at the MAMbo in Bologna from 26 to May 28th. Giorgia Severi has decided to donate the proceeds from the sale of books to two families affected by the recent flood in Emilia-Romagna.


  • Tracey Snelling was invited to participate in the Suddenly Wonderful exhibition on the occasion of the reopening of the Berlinische Galerie, Landesmuseum für Moderne Kunst, with the work Bierpinsel, created especially for this occasion. The exhibition opens on May 26 and runs until September 18, 2023.


  • From May 24th to July 22nd 2023, Clavé Fine Art presents the work of the American artist Jacob Hashimoto, in collaboration with Studio la Città.


  • Studio la Città organizes its first gallery auction on Saturday June 10, 2023! The idea comes from the mind of Hélène de Franchis, owner of the gallery, with the intention of giving new homes, new locations and owners to a selection of works whose starting prices will be deliberately very low (starting from 0 to 500€) allowing anyone to participate. The works on sale will be on display from 9 am, then, at 11 am, the real auction will begin, and it will be held by the professional auctioneer Giovanni Damiani. More info HERE.


  • From 15 April 2023 in the House of The Human Safety Net at the Procuratie Vecchie in Venice the new installation by the artist Arthur Duff:
    “The Hungriest Eye. The Blossoming of Potential”. Curated by Luca Massimo Barbero.


  • Until May 31, 2023 people can visit the exhibition Spaziotempo by Antonio Marchetti Lamera (Bergamo, 1964) and Ennio Tamburi (Jesi, 1936 – Rome, 2018) curated by Roberto Lacarbonara in the new ETworks Studio exhibition space in via dei Marsi 41 in Rome.


  • Saturday March 11, at 11 am Studio la Città will organize in its exhibition space the conference: PAINTING BACK and FORTH. The curator and critic Alberto Fiz will dialogue together with the artists Luigi Carboni and Lucio Pozzi analyzing the various aspects of contemporary painting.

  • Jacob Hashimoto exhibits for the first time at the BAM Museum in Boise – Idaho the site-specific installation The Fractured Giant: a totally immersive experience inside the museum’s “sculpture court”. On display until January 21, 2024.


  • The Vincenzo Castella exhibition presented at the Botanical Garden of Padua has been extended until March 5, 2023. A unique opportunity to admire a selection of forty photographic images of the city. Curated by Salvatore Lacagnina and created with the support of Hermès, the exhibition is organized as part of the celebrations for the 800th anniversary of the University of Padua.


  • On Saturday 28 January, on the occasion of the opening of the three solo exhibitions that inaugurate the new exhibition year of Studio la Città (Luigi Caboni, Victoria Stoian and Antonio Marchetti Lamera), the Galtarossa district in Verona will light up with a new and unexpected work by Arthur Duff.


  • The Piero Atchugarry Gallery, in collaboration with Studio la Città, hosts for the first time in Pueblo Garzón – Uruguay the solo exhibition of Emil Lukas: The Distance of Time.   • “Entre dos líneas tenues” From January 6 to March 20, 2023.
    The Pablo Atchugarry Foundation and the Atchugarry Museum of Contemporary Art – MACA present the American artist Emil Lukas for the first time in Uruguay.

  • In the mother’s womb / Nel grembo materno is the collective exhibition to be held at the Boccanera Gallery – Trento from 22 December 2022 to 25 February 2023, with the aim of following up on the recent exhibition proposal by the curator Cecilia Alemani for the 59th International Art Exhibition of the Biennale di Venice. Among the participating galleries is also Studio la Città with a work by Lucio Fontana.


  • For Enel’s 60th anniversary, the light installation by Arthur Duff “EYES WITH EYES. RIFLESSI FUTURI” lights up at the Auditorium Parco della Musica in Rome. Curated by Valentina Ciarallo, from 6 to 28 December 2022.


  • ART AS A HUB: CREATION OF SUSTAINABLE VALUE: a Round Table which will take place on Tuesday 13 December 2022 at 5.30 pm at the headquarters of the Imago Mundi Foundation in Treviso. Different actors who make up the artistic value production network will meet: private foundations, commercial galleries and service providers will discuss opportunities and critical issues in the sector, presenting their stories and experiences. Event in collaboration with Arte Generali in which Hélène de Franchis will also participate as a speaker.

     


  • Throughout the Christmas period in Brescia, the Carmine district will be illuminated by 5 light art installations including the work of Arthur Duff.

  • From 11 November 2022 to 8 January 2023, Vincenzo Castella is present at the Botanical Garden of Padua with the exhibition: The book of Padua where he shows a series of photographs taken between 2020 and 2021 and collected in the homonymous volume published by Silvana Editoriale commissioned by Hermès Italie, as part of the series of photographic tribute-books to the Italian cities where the maison is present.


  • Until November 30, 2022, the Natural History Museum of Verona hosts the solo exhibition of the artist Pia Gazzola: Segni di Segni, in collaboration with Studio la Città. This exhibition is the second chapter of a larger project, inaugurated on 14 October 2022 in the prestigious hall of the Museum reserved for Bolca fossils with the exhibition Pagine fossili.

  • After the success of the first edition held in Palermo, a new edition of Hit! is on its way. A nomadic, shared, exotic, sustainable and very small art fair to be held in Verona from 10 until 13 November 2022, within the exhibition space of Studio la Città.   • From September 29 to October 16, SUPERLAB – an innovative hub for companies and start-ups in the Bicocca district in Milan – hosts an exhibition curated by Francesca Canfora. For this occasion Arthur Duff exhibits a light installation of environmental dimensions that interacts with the industrial building conceived by the Balance Architettura studio. Ph.   • Great Italian and international photography is exhibited in Forlì, at the San Domenico Museums, from September 17, 2022 to January 8, 2023, within the exhibition: “Civilization: Vivere, Survivere, Buon Vivere“. Three hundred works by 130 photographers and photographers from five continents, including the symbolic image of the largest radio telescope in the world taken by Michael Najjar.


  • The presentation of the new book about Herbert Hamak will be held at Studio la Città on Saturday 24 September at 11:30 am: HERBERT HAMAK 1992 – 2022. 30 years with Studio la Città.
    The book – Italian-English edition – contains unpublished essays by Marco Meneguzzo and Rolf Lauter as well as a selection of excerpts written by the most important curators, critics, museum directors, journalists who have studied the work of the German artist over the years.  CLICK HERE to participate.   • The season 2022-23 of Studio la Città inaugurates with an exhibition featuring new works by Hiroyuki Masuyama. The artist returns to Italy with an unprecedented series realised with a special carving technique, dedicated to the fleeting nature of time. Playing with Shadows, this is the title of the exhibition, will be hosted at Studio la Città from 24 September until 29 October 2022.


  • Marcela Cernadas presents the work “Cenacolo” in her solo exhibition entitled “Soffio” which will be held from 2 July to 1 September 2022 at the Zago Family Foundation in Asolo. Curated by Mauro Perosin.
