L’arte e lo spazio by Giulio Paolini will be one of the works on show in the Machines à penser exhibition at Fondazione Prada – Palazzo Ca ‘Corner della Regina in Venice.
The exhibition, curated by Dieter Roelstraete, explores the correlation between conditions of exile, escape and retreat and physical or mental places which favor reflection, thought and intellectual production focusing on three major philosophers of the 20th century: Theodor W. Adorno (1903-1969), Martin Heidegger (1889-1976) and Ludwig Wittgenstein (1889-1951).
Paolini’s artwork was chosen to represent the influence of Heidegger’s thought across philosophies of building, dwelling and belonging, focusing on the quasi-mythical hut in Todtnauberg.
