Tracey Snelling will be one of the protagonists of the XIII edition of the Havana Biennial, under the direction of María Magdalena Campos-Pons, which will take place between April 16th and May 16th. The most important event linked to the visual arts in Cuba will be attended by 64 artists, including 25 people from Matanzas and others from 16 countries of the world; Tracey Snelling will participate to the Intermittent Rivers project, proposing an artistic intervention that extends beyond the personal vision to create a work inspired by the vibrant city of Matanzas, bearing in mind its extraordinary cultural history, geography and traditions, part of the city’s heritage.
