The works of Tracey Snelling represent urban conglomerates, created with materials and craft techniques along with simple technological elements such as photos, sounds, and lights. Through these, the American artist designs urban landscapes, city views, and shows us exactly How We Live, the translated title of one of her most recent exhibitions. Snelling’s desire to explore does not stop at interiors; here, the artist immerses herself in the vibrant world of nightlife locations. Because it doesn’t matter whether they are iridescent, colorful, or gray: all these spaces are full of human life.
A new interview with the artist, curated by Herbert Kopp-Oberstebrink, is available in KUNSTFORUM International magazine, in the new issue dedicated to architecture, urban planning, and art.
