ANTONIO CALDERARA
Antonio Calderara (Abbiategrasso 1903 – 1978).
Calderara is considered to be one of the most important artists of contemporary Italian art, even if it is difficult to tie him conventionally to a group or artistic movement. In fact, Calderara was a refined and constantly changing painter: he approached art as a self-taught artist in the 1920s, after abandoning his engineering studies in Milan.
