ARTHUR DUFF, NOR THERE

Arthur Duff was born in Wiesbaden in 1973, lives and works in Vicenza.
The artist of American origins loves to work on space, on the border between matter and evanescence, playing with the rules of perception.
Completely in tune with this recurrent emphasis on transformation and on the role of visual languages within social context is the series of embroideries on different kinds of camouflage fabric: text as image and image as language constantly switch their roles and blur their boundaries.
