DAVID SIMPSON, Works 1965-2015
David Simpson was born in Pasadena in 1928, lives and works in Berkeley, California.
The book is an explanatory compendium of the artist’s works made between 1965 and 2015. His paintings are painted with metallic pigments that reflect light differently when the angle of incidence changes. For this reason, by shifting the point of view, completely new colors emerge. They are not what we see around us, they are another world.
