ELISABETH SCHERFFIG, Quasi un paesaggio

Elisabeth Scherffig was born in Düsseldorf in 1949 and has lived in Milan since 1971.
In his work he has always favored the gaze of urban space, which he considers an organism in continuous metamorphosis, investigating this transformation process, he has created cycles of drawings, some on a monumental scale, of places under construction or demolition, of architectural ruins or amasses of industrial materials.
