EMIL LUKAS, Curvature study

Emil Lukas was born in Pittsburgh, U.S.A., in 1964. He lives and works in Stockertown.
It is difficult and all in all useless to find a definition for his works: sculpture? Painting?
Rather three-dimensional works, consisting of overlapping layers, of different materials: plaster, wood, glue, canvas, organic materials, waste.
In his works it is not possible to define external, internal, material support, everything merges into a dialogue between the different moments, where there is no precise hierarchy.
