Emil Lukas, born in Pittsburg in 1964, lives and works in Stockertown, Pennsylvania, USA.
Lukas’ works, however, cannot be properly categorized as sculpture or painting: rather, they are three-dimensional works, consisting of several overlapping layers in which interior and exterior, surface and support lose their hierarchical distinction to assume equal importance.
