SOFT SIDE # 0485, 1997

Emil Lukas (Pittsburgh, 1964) lives and works in Stockertown, Pennsylvania, USA.

Lukas uses a wide and diverse range of elements for his works, ranging from plaster to wood to canvas.
Some of his works also originate from waste material that he accumulates daily in his studio to form a tall pile, which is then fixed and cut into the form of a sculpture.

This work was exhibited in the group exhibition Onomatopoeia at Studio la Città in 1997.
