ESTHER MATHIS, Isolated Systems

Esther Mathis (1985), lives and works in Zurich.
The artist, who uses some fundamental scientific axioms as starting points for her works – such as the concepts of reflection and refraction of light, electrical conductivity or entropy – actually digs much deeper to investigate the relationship between man and nature, between chaos and rule, creating real worlds in miniature.
