MIRCO MARCHELLI, Quindici diciotto
Mirco Marchelli was born in Novi Ligure in 1963. He lives and works in Ovada, in the province of Alessandria.
Artist and musician with multifaceted skills, Marchelli, developed since the mid-nineties, the first works in the field of visual arts and in continuity with his musical research. The keys to his work are the memory and charm that comes from everyday objects: flag poles, stools, small furniture, pieces of wood or fabric, books, booklets, books, boxes and photographs. The artist covers these objects with a layer of wax that transfigures them on one side, on the other makes them eternal, but with new life and new meanings.
