HEMA UPADHYAY, The Princesses’ Rusted Belt

Hema Upadhyay, was born in Baroda, India in 1972. She died in 2015 in Mumbai, India.
His work has often covered the themes of immigration to large cities, and is constantly linked to “urban chaos”. This work of 2011, is part of the artist’s research on immigration. According to her, the birds are the last to move, the bird carries a message in the beak.
