HERBERT HAMAK, 2003

Herbert Hamak was born in 1952 in Unterfranken (Germany). He lives and works in Hammelburg.
There is an assumption that summarizes all of Hamak’s work and it is constituted by the extreme synthesis between idea, form, matter and action, by the biunivocal correspondence of these notions between them. The process through which Hamak comes to these geometric forms is very slow and complex, the result of a skilful dosage of pigments, natural and synthetic resins, waxes, therefore a method of work on the border between artistic and scientific experimentation.
