Herbert Hamak (1952)
His works in resin on canvas offer a particular reading and effect of light, indeed the artist himself calls them ‘paintings’. The work of Hamak does not fall into the traditional categories of art. It focuses, rather, on the purity of color, enhanced by a wise use of light, filtered by the resin, which constitutes the work.
Hamak has collaborated with Studio la Città since the 1990s, and his works have been exhibited in numerous European museums, and are present in international public and private collections.
