HIROYUKI MASUYAMA

Hiroyuki Masuyama was born in Tsukuba, Japan, in 1968. He lives and works in Düsseldorf.
The artist proposes works from different series, all made with the technique of photographic overlay and backlight led. These “light boxes” as Masuyama likes to define them, are related to several series developed by the artist throughout his career: from flights, long developments of aerial images taken during his travels, to the mountains immortalized on board a helicopter.
