JACOB HASHIMOTO
The Heartheat of irreducible Curves – part II

Jacob Hashimoto was born in 1973 in Greeley, U.S.A. He currently lives and works in Brooklyn, New York.
The Japanese-born artist draws on his ethnic origins through his work, redefining screen painting in Japan through the assembly of small paper kites that he layers into larger compositions. the individual components themselves are abstract, but when arranged together, they result in graphic images composed of groups of patterns, stripes, and waves of color creating pictorial images that suggest representations of panoramas, landscapes, scrolling video games, or board games.
