JULIA MANGOLD

Julia Mangold was born in 1966 in Munich, where she lives and works.
Metal constructions by Julia Mangold are variations on the theme of the rectangle. His wall installations are composed of one or more metal elements that vary in shape and size: from monolithic structures placed at the level or side of the wall, to voluminous cubes and rectangles. Mangold manipulates the space playfully, closing it in empty containers, cutting it with protruding elements, inserting metal plates into the wall to increase its movement.
