LAWRENCE CARROLL

Lawrence Carroll (Melbourne, 26 October 1954 – 21 May 2019).
Carroll’s work is neither assembly nor installation in the usual way to contemporary artistic production: wood, canvas, oil and wax color serve today as in past centuries to express physically with the complexity of shapes and colors a humanity deep and not aggressive. The tonality of the paintings is apparently uniform, almost monotonous and monochord like days that follow each other all the same.
