LENA LIV
Untitled
Born in Leningrad in 1952, in 1976 she left the Soviet Union and settled in Israel.
From 1980, she spent long periods living and working in Italy, until, in 1986, he moved permanently to Tuscany, in a home near Pietrasanta.
Lena Liv’s art uses different languages, ranging from drawing to installation, from paper sculpture, to glass, to cast iron, to photography – which is never a documentation work but an iconographic and conceptual elaboration.
Her works move to discover the hidden places of human consciousness and memory, they do not offer answers but rather lead to reflection on universal themes.
