LUCA CACCIONI, Diario derviscio

Luca Caccioni was born in Bologna in 1962.
He lives and works between Bologna and Tuscany, where he has a second studio.

His research initially moves in the pictorial field, using unusual and contemporary materials such as acetates, on which he paints forms, signs and places taken both from his personal memory, both from suggestions from other cultures and distant eras.
This work belongs to a series of ceramics made in 2015 and that dialogued with 50 erotic drawings. They are small objects in glazed ceramic, covered with writing and poetic notes on the model of some Latin carmina, to which is entrusted an imaginary narration.
