LUCIO POZZI, Inserts 210012

Lucio Pozzi was born in 1935 in Milan.
He currently lives and works in Hudson, NY, and Valeggio sul Mincio (Verona) Italy.

Inserts is the title of a group of small sculptures made by superimposing strips of clay. For Pozzi, to model clay and then to glaze it with colour is an experience of instantaneous thought, the possibility of cultivating the sense of touch in his hands, neither knowing what is about to happen nor when the work is finished.
