MARIO SCHIFANO, Vero amore

Mario Schifano (Homs 1934 – Rome 1998).
Although the title “True Love” refers to the series of trees that Schifano began painting from 1965 onwards, the first work that bears that name is not a tree but a monochrome of 1961, “True love number one”.
Exhibition inaugurated in the hope of starting a general reinterpretation of the work of Mario Schifano.
