MAX COLE

Max Cole was born in 1937 in Hodgeman County, KS.

The paintings and drawings, on display at Studio la Città, are the continuation of a work begun more than thirty years ago, which involves the exploration of pure presence expressed through repeated linear pulsations and horizontal movements on an abstract plane. The evolution has been gradual, since the works derive from a single philosophy.
