PAOLO VENTURA, Winter Stories

Paolo Ventura (Milan, 1968) moved to New York where, with great dexterity, he began to create scenarios, often with recycled material, and then to photograph small theatrical sets where he staged miniature puppets always created by him, often dressed as soldiers or in clothes of the past. Photography thus becomes the final product of a chain of a creative process and Ventura thus becomes an “image builder”.
