SALOMON HUERTA

Salomón Huerta was born in Tijuana in 1965. He lives and works in Los Angeles.
Those who like to trace everything that is represented in a work of art to some imaginary source in the life of its creator are abruptly stopped by the faceless heads of Huerta. Huerta has eliminated all that is superfluous from his paintings. Approaching and observing one of his paintings means becoming in the first person what is really ¿behind’ the represented subject.
