Salvador Presta was born in Cosenza on 16 April 1925. He lived and worked in Buenos Aires until 1965. He took part in the biggest Argentine plastic arts exhibitions, receiving important prizes. In 1959 he represented Argentina at the first Paris Biennial and later took part in the first international exhibition at the Museum of Modern Art in Buenos Aires. He died in 2009. Between 1968 and 1969 he exhibited at the Galleria La Polena in Genoa. On the occasion a limited edition of forty silk screen prints was produced.
