TIMOTHY TOMPKINS

He was born in Long Beach, California, in 1967. He now lives and works in Los Alamitos.
Every painting by Timothy Tomkins begins as a digital photograph. Tompkins uses his own photographs as a source of images, then digitally reduces them to include between 12 and 15 colors with blurred outlines. Then performs these as paintings in high gloss, commercial enamels on aluminum panels.
