Ulrich Erben was born in Düsseldorf (Germany) in 1940.
Recognized as one of the leading exponents of European aniconic painting, starting from landscapes and still lifes, he moved towards a work based on the link between geometry and nature, with a particular interest in architecture and the dimensions of spaces.
