Art Cologne, Cologne

From October 29th until November 2nd Studio la Città will be participating in Art Cologne as it has every year since 1973. For the 2003 edition of this important international fair our gallery will be presenting a particularly interesting series of artists. In hall 03.2, booth 114, in fact, we will be exhibiting important works by: Stuart Arends, Davide Bramante, Luigi Carboni, Lawrence Carroll, Enrico Castellani, Giacomo Costa, Max Cole, Lucio Fontana, Alberto Garutti, Herbert Hamak, Jacob Hashimoto, Lena Liv, Emil Lukas, Julia Mangold, Piero Manzoni, Mirco Marchelli, Hiroyuki Masuyama, Ross Rudel, Jonathan Seliger, David Simpson, and Sirio Tommasol. A further space – hall 03.1, booth 126 – will be dedicated exclusively to an impressive new installation of opalescent P.S.T. elements and lights by Jacob Hashimoto: Microbursting Thunderhead.

Hall 2.1 – Stand Q3
Once again this year Studio la Città will be present at Art 34 Basel. We will be showing works by Lucio Fontana, Piero Manzoni, Alighiero & Boetti, Pier Paolo Calzolari and Michelangelo Pistoletto, as well as more contemporary artists such as Luigi Carboni, Mirco Marchelli and Sirio Tommasoli. European and American artists will be represented by works by artists with whom the gallery has worked for some time: Stuart Arends, Lawrence Carroll, Herbert Hamak, Lena Liv, Emil Lukas, Julia Mangold, Jonathan Seliger, and David Simpson. We will also be presenting lightboxes by Hiroyuki Masuyama and the most recent sculptures by Jacob Hashimoto.
Arte Fiera, Bologna

As always since 1975, Studio la Città is participating in this year’s edition of Arte Fiera, the Bologna art fair, but this time with a new approach. Two other prestigious international galleries will be sharing the same space: Alain Le Gaillard from Paris and Walter Storms from Munich. This collaboration will allow the three galleries the possibility of juxtaposing their own artists with those of the others, leading to surprising and illuminating results. Among the artists Studio la Città will be presenting are: Pier Paolo Calzolari, Luigi Carboni, Lawrence Carroll, Enrico Castellani, Max Cole, Lucio Fontana, Alberto Garutti, Herbert Hamak, Jacob Hashimoto, Julia Mangold, Mirco Marchelli, Hiroyuki Masuyama, David Simpson and Sirio Tommasoli.
